Thursday,
October 03, 2013 – As the country was mourning victims who died
at the Westgate Mall Al Shabaab attack, Senator Mike Sonko and Nairobi Women’s Representative,
Rachel Shebesh, were having their usual rendez
vous at 5th floor of Upperhill’s Crowne Plaza hotel.
As it now emerges, the two had shown up at the hotel which
they frequent on Thursdays and Fridays at about 10 p.m. They started their
night drinking alcohol and after they were too intoxicated headed to their VIP
suite on 5th floor.
According to a credible source, Shebesh was heard telling
Sonko that he is poor in bed and never satisfied her. This was after abusing another
lady they were with and when Sonko defended her, it led to a fight in which
Shebesh incurred a hand injury.
Shebesh is said to have raised an alarm which attracted the
attention of clients and employees of the hotel. By that moment their
bodyguards had already been dismissed and she had to use the hotel’s security.
